Day 125: Siblings & Board Games

I have many fond memories of playing board games with my siblings. We can be a very competitive bunch and many tears, tantrums and gleeful cheers have filled my house over the years. I’m sure my mom has had to break up her fair share of arguments as we accused each other of cheating and complained that the winners were rubbing it in our faces or the losers were whining too much.

I think Monopoly has been banned. As has the Harry Potter edition of Trivial Pursuit. The Game of Life is likely headed that way too. We’ve pretty much owned and played every game you can think of and it’s been fun. One of the best things about having many siblings is there is always enough people to play board games with and our competitive nature makes it all the more enjoyable … at least until someone gets angry or tears start flowing 🙂 !

I’m so lucky to have four wonderful siblings. As much as we can get on each other’s nerves at times, I know we will always be there for each other when we need it most. ❤️
