Day 132:  Exercise

Exercise has become a part of my lifestyle over the last six years. I make it a point to be active because there’s a significant surge in my energy levels and my attitude after a good workout.

Some people enjoy going to the gym everyday and putting miles on a treadmill. As much as I enjoy a good run every now and then, most days I prefer doing workout videos. I’m a workout video junkie actually. I’ve done them all – P90x, P90x3, Insanity, T-25, Lesmills Combat, and now Core de Force.

These workout videos range from 15-90 minutes and you can make them as intense as you want them to be. All of these workouts have modified moves for people who want a lower intensity workout or have knee/back issues.

Sometimes, I’ll do an entire program from start to end but then I also like to mix it up and make my own schedule using different workouts from the various programs. If you’re trying to bulk up, then maybe a gym would be better as you’ll want heavier weights as you go. There are a lot of body weight exercises to help you build strength and agility.

If you want to try something new or just don’t want to get an expensive gym membership, maybe you should check out one of these programs.
