“Technically, if you don’t cut a cake and just eat the whole thing with a fork, you still only had one piece.”
In my family, September is filled with birthdays. And, you know what that means? CAKE – lots of it!
I come from a big family and, to us, that just means there are more opportunities to eat cake. My brothers’ birthdays are only a week apart and my parent’s wedding anniversary is between the two. Now you would think, we could just buy one cake for all three occasions. Not a chance! We, of course, buy three separate cakes – everyone deserves their own!
Last week was one of my brother’s birthdays. I got him a brownie chocolate cheesecake but he left for school the very next day. With the rest of my siblings away from home, I found myself with an entire cake to eat all by my lonesome…
Happiness really is a piece of cake.
